Jul 19 Battle of Halidon Hill at Berwick where an English army under Edward III and Edward Balliol defeated the Scots forces led by Sir Archibald Douglas. English archers devastated the Scottish army and inflicted terrible losses, including six earls, seventy barons and over 500 knights in the year 1333.
