Jul 01 Singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette ("You Oughta Know") was born today in Ottawa, Canada. Alanis picked up four Grammys in 1995 for songs related to the Jagged Little Pill album. Another came her way in 1997 from the video for Jagged Little Pill Live. She also performed at the 1999 Grammys and won more awards.
