1847 SS Sea King, this paddle steamer which was plying the ferry trade between Belfast and Liverpool when it ran aground on the eastern end of Mew Island, Belfast Lough. It proven impossible to refloat her and she rolled over filled with water and sank, but there was no loss of life.
