1910 Gella Allaert, Flemish actress (La Round). 

1912 Alexander Mackendrick, Boston, director (Man in the White Suit, Mandy) 

1914 SS Oceanic,a White Star Liner, built in 1899. She was the inaugural ship to exceed the length of the Great Eastern, at 704 ft overall. After being requistioned on the outbreak of the inaugural World War as an armed merchant cruiser, she was attached to the 10th cruiser squadron of the Royal Navy. On the 8th September, in thick fog, she ran aground on rocks on Foula Island, Shetlands where she became a total loss and was eventually broken up. She had a crew of 400 on board at the time of her accident, all of whom were resued by the Trawler Glenogil
