Mar 30   SS Theresa Jane, the storm on this night was particularly bad and the Theresa Jane was one of a number of ships lost. She went onto the rocks of Mew Island, Belfast Lough during her sailing from Liverpool to Mauritius. Seven of the crew of fifteen lost their lives.
